General Assembly

PROJECT BRIEF
General Assembly is a pioneer in education and career transformation, offering classes in 21st century skills such as programming, UX design, digital marketing and data analytics. With each new location that they open, they challenge us to inject a sense of architectural history and place into the newly minted campus through the bespoke furniture and fixtures that we create.

DESIGN
Our communal table design for their Atlanta campus, located in Ponce City Market, is inspired by the conveyor belts that once moved millions of products through the historic, former Sears catalog fulfillment center. In every aspect, from concept to form to fabrication, it is our tribute to the legacy of American Manufacturing.
